sponsored the famous JVC Jazz Festival every year for 20 years.
The multi-city event draws renowned performers that have entertained
an audience of over 3.5 million people worldwide. JVC retained Vineberg
Communications to create a sweepstakes promotion, the JVC Match
and Win Game, to promote the JVC brand and drive consumers to JVC
retail outlets. The solution was an interactive 800-number instant
win game that was supported by national print and radio ads where
consumers redeemed prize code numbers at audio and electronics stores.
This highly successful promotion generated 175,000 responses -
a 650% increase over the previous year’s results, and JVC’s
best promotional response to date.
